All of the parents in the school have an important part to play and are seen as very much part of the whole school team.  We call upon them to help and support their children in many ways from listening to children read, running clubs, taking part in the PTA and supporting classes when on school trips if additional adults are needed.  It is also very helpful if parents or members of the local community are able to come into school to talk about the life of their occupation to enrich our curriculum.

Parents are of vital help in supporting their children with weekly homework tasks or the development of Learning Logs which are sent home once every three weeks to develop learning styles and independence.

Parents' evenings are held in Autumn and Spring terms, when each child's progress and targets are discussed.  Two reports are sent out each year; a brief one in Spring and a more detailed one in the Summer term to coincide with Open Evening.
